Rangers boss Steven Gerrard wants to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers outcast Dominic Iorfa.
As reported by The Sun, the Liverpool legend is supposedly keen to snap up the 23-year-old, who has been restricted to just two Checkatrade Trophy appearances this term, for around £500,000.

Iorfa has suffered something of a fall from grace recently.
Last term he has loaned out to Ipswich Town, but before that he was a regular in the Wolves starting lineup.
In the 2015/16 season he made 46 appearances and at the time looked like one of the best young English talents in the country.
But he’s lost his way at Molineux and is completely unfancied by Nuno Espirito Santo.

Rangers could be a good move for him, but would it see Jon Flanagan have to undergo a permanent position change?
Flanagan to left back?
If Rangers successfully signed Iorfa, then it would surely prevent Flanagan from playing in his natural position of right back.
Also in there for competition is club captain James Tavernier.
Although the Englishman was linked with a summer move to West Bromwich Albion, Gerrard is highly unlikely to sell the set piece specialist.

If Rangers could boast Tavernier and Iorfa, then it would surely end any hopes for the player to operate at right back.
The naturally right-footed Flanagan has struggled at times at left back this term.
That said, Gerrard may wish to utilise Iorfa centrally/as part of a three-man defence, which could leave more opportunites for Flanagan.
