Glasgow Rangers have reportedly been after Juan Alegria for over 18 months and now he may be coming to Ibrox.
Back in December 2020, the Daily Record reported how Rangers were closing in on the 19-year-old after “more than a year-long chase”.
At the time Gers boss Steven Gerrard said there was “something” in the speculation, adding they were “well aware of the player and his talent”.

Obviously the deal didn’t happen in January as Alegria remained with Finnish club Honka.
According to a follow-up report, Britain’s exit from the European Union and the change of the transfer window made things difficult.
But the Daily Record has now reported that Alegria is set for Rangers after getting the green light to leave Honka.
His club will reportedly not stand in his way following their Europa Conference League qualifying exit at the hands of Domzale.
The Light Blues apparently see the Colombian as a promising talent for the future and believe they can develop him in Scotland.
Alegria moved to Finland from Colombian side Deportes Tolima last year.
Alfredo Morelos took a similar path, although he was slightly older when he left Independiente Medellin for HJK Helsinki.
He then moved to Rangers in 2017 and has been one of the top stars at Ibrox over the past few years.
