Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has reportedly agreed personal terms with French side Lille.

According to RMC Sport, the two clubs are now locked in talks over a transfer fee.

Apparently Lille’s sporting director Luis Campos met with the Colombian international to discuss the club’s ambitions, with the player keen to become a part of the project.

Lille came fourth in Ligue 1 in 2019/20 meaning they will participate in the Europa League next season, but the ultimate goal is to get back into the Champions League.

It would appear Morelos is the desired replacement for Victor Osimhen, who is looking set to join Napoli for a reported €60 million/£55 million (Guardian).

The South American joined Rangers from HJK Helsinki in 2017 and has been a huge signing for the Scottish giants.

So far, he has scored 77 goals in 137 appearances in all competitions for the club.
