Rangers star Nathan Patterson is the subject of interest from 12 European clubs including Manchester United and Everton, according to 90Min.

Patterson, 19, has broken into the Rangers side over the last 18 months under Steven Gerrard – clocking up 20 senior games for the Ibrox club.

His form has been so impressive that Patterson has even earned Scotland caps, and was part of Steve Clarke’s squad for Euro 2020 in the summer.

Now, he is the subject of tranfer interest. A report from The Sun in September said Rangers want more than £10million for Patterson.

In the summer, Everton saw a couple of bids rejected for the defender. Now, Manchester United have joined Rafa Benitez’s side in the race for Patterson.

However, the two Premier League clubs are not the only ones interested – with 12 European sides said to be keen on Rangers flyer Patterson.

Manchester United eye Patterson: What is a fair price for Rangers ace?

Patterson is an incredible talent. While Rangers have only afforded Patterson 20 outings, it must be considered that James Tavernier sits ahead.

Tavernier is club captain and arguably his side’s best player, given his goals and assists from the right side of defence. Patterson has his path blocked.

But that is not stopping his potential from blossoming. Indeed, the Scotland star has sparkled when given the chance, most recently against Hibernian.

If Rangers get anything over £10million for Patterson, though, then they should really consider his sale. A fee of £12million is probably fair.
