Daniel Candeias has enjoyed two rather successful seasons at Rangers since joining the club under Pedro Caixinha two years ago, but now he may have hinted on Instagram that he is keen on leaving this summer.
The 31-year-old joined the club from Benfica in the summer of 2017, and has since clocked up 97 appearances in all competitions. In that time, he has found the back of the net 14 times and laid on 25 assists.
This season, he played 52 times, and had a hand in 18 goals. Steven Gerrard is still likely to view him as a key member of his squad, given that he was used so regularly by the Light Blues boss during 2018-19.
However, Candeias may have other ideas despite having a contract until the summer of 2020. That is because a Rangers fan has noticed his activity on Instagram, which sees him liking Alanyaspor fans’ comments.

TBR’s view
Candeias has played 30 times for Alanyaspor and his decision to like the comments may just be out of admiration for his former club. Or, it could be an indication that he wants to return.
Rangers do have plenty of options out wide, after bringing in Jordan Jones and Jake Hastie this summer. Ryan Kent is only on loan, and it the Gers continue to look for a deal to extend that loan.
With Eros Grezda, Glenn Middleton and Jamie Murphy to choose from, Candeias may be about to plummet down the pecking order. A move to Alanyaspor, then, could be on the cards.
