Despite only recently turning 16, Graham has already featured for Ross County’s Under-18 side, and will now join Gers on a permanent basis.

The teenage prodigy’s signing has delighted Rangers academy head Craig Mulholland, who welcomed the boyhood Bear to the club.

“I am delighted to welcome James to Rangers. James was in high demand from EPL clubs and another in Scotland and it is an important part of our strategy that we secure Scotland’s brightest talent first,” Mulholland told Rangers TV.

“He is a dynamic, quick and tenacious forward with excellent energy and finishing abilities. As a Rangers fan, I know James can’t wait to get started and we look forward to welcoming him to the Academy in the near future.”

As young talents go, Graham definitely looks a cut above and suited for the Rangers academy, Mulholland understandably delighted to bring him on board given his talents and potential to develop into a great player, not to mention being a Rangers fan.

With Stephen Kelly having penned a new long-term deal and going out on loan to Ross County, the Gers are showing ambition at academy level and will do all they can to turn promising youngsters into great senior players at Ibrox.
