Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty is wanted by English Championship club Rotherham United this month, according to the Scottish Sun.
Docherty is currently enjoying a loan spell at League 1 outfit Shrewsbury, which is going exactly as planned as he has seven goals and seven assists across all competitions so far this season.
That form has apparently convinced the Millers that he can do a job in the league above and they want to buy him this month, as Rangers have the opportunity to cut short his current loan spell.
Docherty has expressed his desire to remain at Ibrox beyond the end of this season and that should be Steven Gerrard’s plan too.

The Liverpool icon should not be considering cashing in on the young midfielder this month, but a loan spell to the English second tier would appear to be the logical next step in his progression.
So if a loan deal to Rotherham can be engineered, then it would work well for all parties, but Rangers should not be considering selling Docherty, off the back of such an impressive season.
Gerrard has already started planning for next season with the pre-contract signings of Jordan Jones and Glen Kamara and ensuring Docherty is part of those plans come the summer is the right way to go.
