A player that Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard reportedly wants to bring to Ibrox is set to become a free agent next month.
Morgan Fox was linked to Rangers last month, TEAMtalk claiming the Ibrox side is in the race to snap up the Sheffield Wednesday left-back on a free.
However, the Light Blues reportedly face competition from several English sides including Burnley, Bournemouth, Middlesbrough, Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion.

Fox has been with Wednesday since January 2017 and, although he came under criticism early in his time at Hillsborough, he improved massively towards the latter stages of his stint.
To date, the 26-year-old Welshman has made 102 competitive appearances from the Owls, while his prior stint at Charlton Athletic yielded 116 appearances.
However, Fox’s contract expires at the end of June and, earlier this week, Wednesday confirmed that he declined an offer to see out the extended English Championship season.
Back to Rangers, they’re now short on the left side of the defence, with Andy Halliday and Jon Flanagan gone, and Borna Barisic now the only senior left-back at the club.

New arrival Calvin Bassey is a left-back but given his lack of senior football experience, Gerrard may also need a player who’s more ready to be thrown in at the deep end.
Fox would be a decent option as a deputy for Barisic, with his extensive experience in the English second tier, and being a free agent, Rangers would save money on that front.
The 6ft 1in Brit‘s current salary at Wednesday is reported to be £8,000-a-week (Silly Season) so he shouldn’t be out of Rangers’ price reach there either.
Admittedly, with some English top-flight sides reportedly lurking, there may be big wages offered, but only at Ibrox would he be likely to challenge for a top-flight title and compete in Europe.
