Rangers could be about to bolster their squad ahead of the transfer window closing next month.

The Daily Record has reported that Ryan Kent could try and force through a move to Ibrox from Liverpool.

It is thought that the 22-year-old could ‘down tools’ in an attempt to get boss Jurgen Klopp to change his mind about keeping him at Anfield.

Kent was fantastic during a loan spell with the Light Blues last season. He netted six goals and registered nine assists under Steven Gerrard’s management.

The youngster is not in Klopp’s plans for this season and hasn’t been in the squad for Liverpool’s first two games.

Playing football is clearly what he wants to do, with a return to Rangers firmly in his sights.

The reaction to the report from Rangers supporters to the Daily Record piece has been mixed.

Some have taken it as gospel and would go and collect Kent themselves; whilst some believe that the ‘exclusive’ aspect of the piece isn’t accurate and talks are ongoing anyway.

Following such news, fans have been reacting on Twitter.
