It might have been central defender Worrall who put the ball in the net but the catalyst for the result came from winger Ryan Kent.

The on-loan Liverpool performer was in stunning form once more and claimed another assist.

The 22-year-old now has nine assists in all competitions to go with five goals for the club.

Since arriving in the summer the Reds youngster has produced several eye-catching displays.

Gerrard obviously knows all about the youngster having coached the academy at the club, with Kent clearly benefiting from playing under the Liverpool legend.

His current form on loan will surely delight boss Jurgen Klopp.

Kent possesses serious potential and maybe he will get the chance to shine at Anfield next season.

His all-action style of getting the ball and driving at opponents would suit Liverpool’s system down to the ground.

Given his current form, the Liverpool boss could do an awful lot worse.
