Rangers were forced to wait until the eleventh hour but ended a summer-long saga to finally sign Liverpool forward Ryan Kent.
The Light Blues confirmed the deal on their official website and sees them welcome back a player who was a roaring success last season.
Boss Steven Gerrard has been forced to wait patiently to secure Kent’s signature. For many weeks it had looked like the ship had sailed. Patience is a virtue, however, and Rangers have their man.

Kent claimed Scotland Young Player of the Year for his performances during 2018/19. He started in 40 games and scored six goals in Gerrard’s team.
Rangers have been busy recruiting throughout the summer. It had been thought at one stage that the Gers’ squad was well stocked with wide attacking options and that Kent might not be pursued.
That hasn’t proved to be the case, however, with Gerrard clearly always keeping one eye on bringing Kent back to the club.
Following such a big signing the Rangers supporters have naturally taken to Twitter to speak of their delight over such a signing.

After losing Sunday’s first Old Firm-derby of the season this will surely lift some of the gloom around Ibrox following such a crushing defeat.
