New Nottingham Forest boss Martin O’Neill might recall Joe Worrall halfway through his loan spell at Rangers, according to The Daily Record.
The ex-Celtic boss wants the England under-21 centre-back to bolster his defence but would have to pay Rangers a cash sum to recall him.
But Steven Gerrard has since eased fans’ worries, claiming the 22-year-old will stay for the season, The Scottish Sun reports.
