Karlan Grant has been linked with Rangers this month with The Scottish Sun claiming that the Gers are lining up a pre-contract agreement.

The 21-year-old striker has scored 14 goals in 28 games for Charlton Athletic this season.

But Rangers now face competition for the ex-England youth international with Huddersfield Town, Brentford and Millwall all keen, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

Nick Powell linked

Rangers and Celtic are ready to battle it out for Wigan Athletic midfielder Nick Powell, according to The Scottish Sun.

The ex-Manchester United man has scored four goals this season, including three in his first three matches, and he is available on a pre-contract.

Rangers want the 24-year-old for next season but face a battle with Celtic, Red Bull Leipzig and Brighton.

Lee Hodson targeted

Rangers defender Lee Hodson is a target for two English clubs, according to The Sun.

Ipswich Town and Bolton Wanderers are prepared to sign the right-back, who is currently on loan at St Mirren.

Both of the English clubs are in relegation trouble in the Championship and want the 27-year-old to boost their survival hopes.
