Matt Polster signs
Rangers have completed the signing of Matt Polster from Chicago Fire on a two-and-a-half year deal, the club’s official website has announced.
The 25-year-old recently completed a trial spell with Rangers and they were impressed enough to offer him terms.
The USA international either plays as a right-back or as a central midfielder.
Karlan Grant joins Huddersfield
Rangers appear to have missed out on Charlton Athletic striker Karlan Grant after Huddersfield Town confirmed his arrival on their official website.
The 21-year-old was linked with a pre-contract move to Rangers (The Scottish Sun) but he has instead made a January move to the Premier League’s bottom club.
Grant scored 14 goals for the Addicks in League One this season and is tipped for a bright future.
Offers for Carlos Pena
Carlos Pena has played his last game for Rangers and has offers on the table from three different countries, as per The Daily Record.
The 28-year-old is mulling over offers from Mexico, Turkey and Poland as he decides on his next career step.
But the deal might be held up by contract issues with the Mexico international reportedly raking in over £20k-per-week with 18 months left on his deal (The Daily Record).
