Hull City enter Greg Docherty race

Hull City have joined Rotherham United in the race to sign Greg Docherty from Rangers, according to journalist Tom Carnduff.
The 22-year-old has been on loan at League One side Shrewsbury Town, where he has scored seven goals and picked up seven assists this season.
But Rangers might recall him and send him to the Championship, with Hull among a number of teams keen on the Scotland under-21 midfielder.
Steven Gerrard praises winter break

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is thankful that the winter break has allowed his new players to settle in.
The Gers have made two signings this month (as well as two pre-contract agreements) by bringing in Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis – both on loan.
In an interview with Rangers TV, Gerrard said: “We’ve obviously signed a couple of new faces so I think in terms of integrating them and for them to get comfortable, I think it’s very important.”
Rangers reportedly contact Mohanad Ali

Rangers have contacted Mohanad Ali’s agent over a possible move for the wonder-kid, according to Iraqi journalist Ahmed Saeed via The Daily Record.
The 18-year-old plays for Al-Shorta and is able to play up front or on the wings.
Rangers are ready to swoop for the Iraq international, who has scored eight times in 13 games for his country.
