Steven Gerrard addresses Alfredo Morelos exit rumours

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has described interest in star striker Alfredo Morelos as “flattering”, the Rangers official account has tweeted.
The 22-year-old Colombian has scored 29 goals this season which has attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund and Leicester City, as per Sky Sports News.
Gerrard told his press conference: “I’m sure the interest is flattering for Alfredo, in terms of me, nothing changes. He puts a smile on my face as he is such a top, top player. The interest and speculation are not going to go away. I’d be more worried if people weren’t interested in our players.”
Gareth McAuley suffers hamstring injury

Gareth McAuley suffered a hamstring injury during an in-house training game, Gerrard has confirmed via the Rangers Twitter account.
The 39-year-old centre-back has only played twice in 2019 and now has another injury setback, while Ryan Jack remains a doubt.
In his press conference, Gerrard said: “We had an in-house game yesterday, McAuley has a hamstring issue after this but he is the only new issue.”

Ex-Rangers target Stefan Marinovic is “heading to Bristol City” for talks ahead of a potential move to the Championship promotion hopefuls, according to Football Insider.
The New Zealand international is a free agent since leaving Vancouver Whitecaps and had a trial at Rangers in January, The Scottish Sun reported.
But Rangers did not sign the 27-year-old, who might be on his way to Ashton Gate for a promotion push.
