Scott Arfield and Andy Halliday could miss this weekend’s trip to Aberdeen, Steven Gerrard has confirmed via a video on the Rangers official Twitter feed.

Halliday missed Wednesday’s win over Dundee, while Arfield was taken off at half-time.

Those are the only two injury concerns as Gerrard takes his squad to Aberdeen for the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup.

Rangers are among the clubs watching Maritimo midfielder Josip Vukovic, according to talkSPORT.

Premier League trio Chelsea, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City are also in the hunt for the Croatian, as well as Portuguese heavyweights Benfica.

The Gers have watched the 26-year-old in action and could make a summer move with Maritimo rating him at £4m.

Rangers have option to sign Mile Todorov

Former trialist Mile Todorov has signed for Osijek but Rangers still have an option to sign him, according to journalist Filip Mishov.

The Macedonia youth international will initially start with Osijek’s B team and Rangers will watch him closely.

And if the Scottish side decide that the 19-year-old is good enough, they can invite him for another trial or sign him next season.
