For the first time this season, Villarreal may have a full squad available to them when they face Rangers in Europa League action on Thursday night in Glasgow.
Coach Javier Calleja has been under pressure of late as the Yellow Submarine’s domestic form has left them at the wrong end of the table, but the return to training of Bruno Soriano could put him in contention as the last injured player having been out since pre-season.
The experienced midfielder returned to training earlier in the week but may not be fully fit until facing the Scottish side on Thursday.

With just one point separating the two sides in their Europa League group, and particularly with Spartak Moscow level on points with Rangers and SK Rapid Vienna only being a point behind, every game matters for Steven Gerrard’s men.
Whilst this may not have a substantial impact on the performance of the starting line-up selected by Calleja, it could provide a real morale boost as well as provide more options from the bench.
The Spaniards may be slight favourites and that is only set to increase as they get more of their squad back in action.
