Rangers are planning on loaning out new signing Jake Hastie and youngster Glen Middleton this summer. That is according to The Scottish Sun. The report claims that both Hastie, signed from Motherwell this summer, and Middleton will be allowed a chance for regular football next term away from Ibrox.
It is certainly good news for a player some might have forgotten about in Glasgow. The player in question is Jamie Murphy.
The Glasgow side signed Murphy on a permanent deal from Brighton last May. It was a welcome move from Rangers, after a successful loan spell. The deal, according to Sky Sports, cost the club around £1 million.

The Glasgow-born childhood Rangers fan had been brilliant at Ibrox. His form with Rangers earned him his first Scotland cap and clearly won Steven Gerrard over.
But his permanent Rangers career hit a big bump in the road early on. Murphy suffered a serious knee injury last August and has not played since.
With Rangers also signing Jordan Jones and Greg Stewart this summer, Murphy would have been fighting an uphill battle for playing time at Rangers.
But hearing the two youngsters may be on their way out on loan suggests Murphy is further up that field than expected.
