Rangers face a Europa League last 32 clash with Royal Antwerp this evening, with Steven Gerrard looking to take his team’s league form into Europe.

The Teddy Bears are yet to lose in the Scottish Premiership this season and are on course to end Celtic’s period of dominance.

With their domestic lead close to becoming unassailable, Gerrard’s team can put maximum effort into tonight’s game.

Rangers could have been handed a tougher round of 32 clash, with Antwerp finishing second in Group J.

Ahead of tonight’s game, we looked at the team Gerrard might pick.

In goal and back four

Allan McGregor has been in fine form and should continue between the posts this evening.

There is unlikely to be much change at the back either, with James Tavernier and Borna Barisic keeping their places at full-back.

One change could be made at the heart of the back four, with the £10,000-a-week Filip Helander coming in to replace Leon Balogun alongside Connor Goldson.

Midfield

Gerrard seems likely to go with the three-man midfield that has served him so well this season.

Glen Kamara could come in for Ryan Jack, with the Scotland international still working his way back to full fitness.

Steven Davis has been instrumental this season and should start with Joe Aribo making up the three.

In attack

Alfredo Morelos looks set to spearhead the attack and look to build on his 11 goals this season.

Ryan Kent has been in fine form this season and the ex-Liverpool star should start on the left.

Ianis Hagi should get the nod on the right but Kemar Roofe is also in contention to start this evening.
