Rangers will hope to progress to the last eight of the Europa League tonight by knocking out Slavia Prague.

The Gers drew 1-1 last week with all to play for in tonight’s clash under the Ibrox floodlights.

Steven Gerrard’s men have already confirmed the Scottish Premiership title and can now place their sole focus on European competition.

Ahead of tonight’s game, we looked at the team the Rangers boss might pick.

In goal and back four

Allan McGregor is established as the club’s number one goalkeeper and made a fine save last week during the away leg.

James Tavernier is back in training but is unlikely to be risked from the off here.

Nathan Patterson will play right-back, with Borna Barisic keeping his place on the left-hand side.

Connor Goldson and Filip Helander are likely to start at centre-back.

Midfield

Ryan Jack is set to miss tonight’s game and that represents a blow for the Gers.

As a result, it’ll probably be a tried and tested trio that gets the nod to play against Slavia Prague tonight.

Joe Aribo and Glen Kamara will play either side of Steven Davis who has been so impressive this season.

In attack

Kemar Roofe is now available and he could be handed the chance to shine in place of Ianis Hagi.

The £35,000-a-week talisman has enjoyed a decent campaign when called upon and he’ll hope to finish the season with a flourish.

Alfredo Morelos up front and Ryan Kent on the left will practically pick themselves given their importance to the team.
