Glasgow Rangers are back in Scottish Premiership action today, Steven Gerrard’s charges on the road and hoping to bring three points back to Ibrox.

The Gers, who are still unbeaten both results-wise and clean sheet-wise in the league, head to Hamilton, who won their first game of the season but lost their next three.

That said, Rangers did stutter last time played away from Ibrox and dropped points in a frustrating 0-0 draw at Livingston, so they will need to up their game at New Douglas Park.

With Jon McLaughlin barely putting a foot wrong, Gerrard is likely to stick with him in goal again.

While the back four of Borna Barisic, Filip Helander, Connor Goldson and James Tavernier has been watertight, Leon Balogun’s return to fitness could see him replace the £3.5m Swede.

Ryan Jack is a shoe-in for central midfield, while Glen Kamara could come in for Steven Davis in order to give him a rest.

Joe Aribo remains sidelined, and although Gerrard praised Alfredo Morelos’ renewed focus in training, he could well stick with Kemar Roofe up front after his goal last time out.

Ianis Hagi could also get another chance from the off after missing out on the XI last time out, with Cedric Itten and Ryan Kent either side of the 21-year-old attacking midfielder.

Rangers predicted XI (4-2-3-1): McLaughlin; Tavernier, Goldson, Balogun, Barisic; Kamara, Jack; Kent, Hagi, Itten; Roofe
