Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard will be hoping to make it two wins out of two in the Scottish Premiership at Ibrox today.
The Gers ran out 1-0 winners at Aberdeen last week but were unable to conjure up a miracle in the Europa League as they were knocked out away at Bayer Leverkusen.
Up next for Rangers is St Mirren, who were also victorious on the opening day of the 2020-21 campaign, beating Livingston at home.
With first-choice goalkeeper Allan McGregor a doubt for the Buddies game, Jon McLaughlin could come in for his competitive Rangers debut.
Filip Helander impressed in his first competitive outing since December but Gerrard might opt to rest him and bring Leon Balogun back in after he was ineligible for the European clash.
Elsewhere in defence, the Gers boss is likely to stick with Borna Barisic, Connor Goldson and James Tavernier.
Steven Davis, like Helander, is currenly short of match fitness, so Glen Kamara could return as part of a midfield three, with Ryan Jack in the middle and Joe Aribo on the left.
There could be changes up front too, with Cedric Itten “ready to go” and “available for Sunday”.
The £2.7million newcomer could replace Alfredo Morelos, who was poor against Leverkusen, in what would be a very bold decision for Gerrard.
Kemar Roofe is unlikely to feature as he’s lacking match fitness, so the front three could see Ryan Kent retained on the left and Ianis Hagi come back in after he was dropped for Brandon Barker.
That’s five changes in total – McGregor, Helander, Davis, Barker and Morelos out in place of McLaughlin, Balogun, Kamara, Hagi and Itten.
