Steven Gerrard’s Rangers side are in Sweden ahead of Tuesday evening’s clash against Malmo, in the third round of Champions League qualifying. With numerous suspensions and a couple of injuries, Rangers are expected to shuffle the pack against Malmo. They could make up to six changes.
Rangers come into the match having beaten Livingston with relative ease on Saturday at Ibrox. The 3-0 win saw Ianis Hagi, Scott Wright and Kemar Roofe all get on the score sheet. But Hagi picked up and injury and Roofe is one of three players that are suspended for Tuesday night’s outing.
Leon Balogun, Glen Kamara and Kemar Roofe are all suspended. Meanwhile, Hagi could be rested after being on the receiving end of a robust challenge from Livi’s Adam Lewis. Ryan Jack remains on the sidelines with an injury, while Alfredo Morelos is in isolation.

Six changes: Who starts for Rangers against Malmo?
Allan McGregor was on the bench during Saturday’s outing and he comes in for Jon McLaughlin. Two changes in defence, Borna Barisic replaces Calvin Bassey and Filip Helander comes in for Balogun. In midfield, Steven Davis and Joe Aribo remain – but John Lundstram could replace Kamara.
Up top is where we will see most change. Ryan Kent remains, but Wright is likely to replace Hagi after netting a gorgeous goal against Livi. Up front, Gerrard has Fashion Sakala and £3million (Scotsman) Cedric Itten to pick from. We think he will opt for Itten, after a strong pre-season.
Six changes then for Rangers against Malmo – in come McGregor, Barisic, Helander, Lundstram, Wright and Itten. They replace McLaughlin, Bassey, Balogun, Kamara, Hagi and Sakala.

In other Rangers news, a report claims Gerrard is open to the sale of two attacking stars.
