Rangers have recently been linked with a swoop for Aidan Fitzpatrick. According to The Daily Express via The Scottish Sun, Rangers and Norwich City are keen on Fitzpatrick.
Partick Thistle rate the teenager very highly but Rangers are hoping to prise him away from the struggling Scottish Championship side.
And given Fitzpatrick’s latest performance, it is only a matter of time before more clubs starting circling around him.
The 17-year-old got the ball rolling in Partick’s 4-1 win over Scottish League One side Stranraer in the Scottish Cup.
Although they were playing a team in the division below, it was a banana skin fixture for Thistle so they would have been relieved when Fitzpatrick opened the scoring.

Playing in just his 13th senior match since progressing through the ranks, the Jags starlet scored his fourth goal.
Fitzpatrick also played a key part in the fourth goal, which ended Stranraer’s hopes of staging a late comeback.
The Scotland under-17 international is rated highly by club and country and Rangers could help take his game to the next level.
Although he is one for the future rather than an immediate fix, Rangers must swoop sooner rather than later because his reputation is growing by the day.
