Rangers need to find another source of goals because they cannot be reliant on Alfredo Morelos.
The other attacking players in Rangers’ ranks need to step up and support Morelos, who cannot lead Rangers to glory on his own.
The 22-year-old is performing well and he got on the score sheet once again yesterday.
But a toothless display from his peers meant that Rangers slipped to a 1-1 draw against Kilmarnock in the league.
Morelos takes his tally to 13 goals in 23 games this season, which is a very impressive return.
For such a young player, he is carrying the burden of being Rangers’ main striker commendably.
But his ill-discipline is the Achilles Heel in his game. He picked up yet another yellow card last night, making that three in his last three games.
Morelos already has two red cards to his name this season and he is one yellow card away from another suspension.
Rangers have to accept that this is part and parcel of having Morelos up front; he will miss several games due to his natural hot-headed character.
But when the Colombia international is missing, Rangers cannot afford for the rest of their strikers to be goal-shy.
Kyle Lafferty is the main candidate to take his place but he needs to better his tally of four goals in 11 appearances for the Gers this season.
Then, Eros Grezda, Umar Sadiq need to weigh in with better performances and more goals.
