Rangers loan move should be Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster’s next career step

Liverpool and Rangers have a newfound relationship after Steven Gerrard moved to Ibrox in the summer.

The Liverpool legend is the new manager of Rangers and so far he has done an impressive job.

Hope has been restored at Rangers after some difficult years and fans are excited about what Gerrard can bring.

In the summer transfer window, he took advantage of his links with Liverpool to bring in some talented players.

Ryan Kent is already thriving, with Ovie Ejaria also a regular in the side. Jon Flanagan, who played alongside Gerrard at Anfield, also moved to Rangers.

Rangers is a perfect place for a young Liverpool player to learn his trade. He would team up with Gerrard, play in front of big crowds, compete for silverware and even get European experience.

All of these factors mean that Liverpool should seriously consider sending Rhian Brewster out on loan to Rangers in January.

After 10 months out injured, the 18-year-old is finally nearing his long-awaited comeback from injury.

Brewster has been out with an ankle injury, hampering his progress, and a loan move to Rangers could get him back on track in his quest to make it at the top level.

The England youth international is regarded as one of the best young strikers in Europe but he needs to step up to senior level.

Although Liverpool may be protective over him and reluctant to let him go, a loan move to Rangers would be the best step for his career.
