Reported Glasgow Rangers target Bongani Zungu has been frozen out of the first-team picture at his current club amid links with the Ibrox side.
The Amiens midfielder has been linked for several weeks with a purported £3.5million move to Rangers, but the move appears to have stalled.
On Tuesday, a report in The Scotsman claimed that personal terms have still not been finalised and the move has been thrown into doubt.

The Scottish Sun suggested on the same day that Rangers boss Gerrard could look at alternative options to add some strength in depth to his midfield position.
Zungu has not played a single minute for relegated Amiens in their pre-season games and head coach Luka Elsner has no intention of picking Zungu while his future remains in the air.
“I have decided to restrict the squad I will work with,” Elsner is quoted by the Daily Record as saying.
“So only those whose head is committed to the Amiens project this season will play for me.
“We need only players who are 100 percent committed to the club and the players who are trying to leave won’t be involved.
“I want players who give everything in training and pre-season. The league starts in less than two weeks’ time and I cannot afford to carry players whose futures are not clear.”
TBR View:
Rangers are very much in need of a solid number six, an enforcer who can protect the defence and add some steel at the base of midfield, and Zungu very much fits the bill.
A defensively-minded midfielder with quick feet and composure in tight areas, along with an impressive ability to hit accurate, long passes, the South African has drawn comparisons with Yaya Toure and Paul Pogba (Soccer Laduma).
The Daily Record claimed last month that Zungu – a huge Liverpool fan – snubbed other suitors after learning of Anfield legend Gerrard’s interest, and hopefully a breakthrough will happen in the next few days that will result in the player being unveiled at Ibrox.
