Sheyi Ojo has declared that he is already “in love” with Rangers despite only joining the club on Tuesday on a season-long loan from Liverpool, as the Gers fifth summer signing.
The attacker turned 22 on Wednesday and because of his birthday, he trained in a party hat to celebrate – in what was just his second day of training with Steven Gerrard’s side.
Ojo has joined Rangers along with attackers Jordan Jones, Jake Hastie and Greg Stewart, while veteran midfielder Steven Davis has signed a permanent one-year deal at the club following his loan from Southampton last term.
Now, Rangers fans will love Ojo’s post on his Instagram story, as he uploaded a picture of himself training with a party hat – telling fans that he thinks he is in love with Rangers.
Ojo’s immediate desire and affection towards Rangers is the perfect example of the kind of player Gerrard needs to bring to Ibrox. The Liverpool legend needs players that love to wear the Light Blue shirt.
Seemingly, Ojo is that kind of player. Not only is he supremely talented – enough to break into the senior Liverpool side on 13 occasions – but his commitment to the cause, as summed up by his post, will make him a better player.
