Rangers fans were not impressed by the performance in narrow Hamilton victory
Rangers have been faltering of late and perhaps the January transfer window can provide the boost they need to renergise their title bid.
That said, they returned to the summit of the Scottish Premiership with a 1-0 win over Hamilton, on the same afternoon where Celtic slipped to a 2-0 defeat against Hibernian.
Daniel Candeias’ early goal was enough to seal all three points, but it was a far cry from the result and performance Rangers offered up in the 4-1 away win over Hamilton earlier on in the season.
The display was one of a side low on confidence and energy after their unsuccessful midweek excursion; but the three points and the boost that returning to the top of the league produces are always welcome.

But it did not go unnoticed that the performance was not up to scratch, and Rangers supporters took to Twitter to both hail the three points but also underline the need for their side to improve in future.
That must start in midweek when they face Hibernian who will of course by riding high after beating Brendan Rodgers’ champions and we’ve taken a look at some of the best, brutally honest reaction…

A win is a win I suppose but it was a difficult 90 minutes to watch. Especially at home.
