Rangers will be looking to hold onto their slender advantage over Portuguese side Braga on Wednesday night with a place in the last 16 of the Europa League up for grabs – and Gers supporters want George Edmundson to start.
It has been a disappointing few weeks for Rangers since the club returned from the winter break. The Gers have dropped 10 Scottish Premiership points after losing to Hearts and Kilmarnock, while drawing with Aberdeen and St. Johnstone.
Just one clean sheet in their last six games in all competitions is also a major concern, but Steven Gerrard continues to use Connor Goldson as his first-choice centre-back – and Nikola Katic continues to partner the former Brighton ace.

Edmundson, a summer signing for Oldham for £700,000 (BBC), has been afforded just three appearances since the turn of the year. He helped Rangers beat Stranraer, scored in the 2-1 win over Hibernian, and played the 4-1 Cup win over Hamilton.
Katic struggled against St. Johnstone on Sunday afternoon, making a number of mistakes while Goldson’s consistent form has become somewhat less so. Coming up against Braga in a crucial Europa League clash, the defence has got to be solid.
That is why many Rangers fans have taken to Twitter in order to convince Steven Gerrard to start defender Edmundson in what would be his Europa League debut, against Braga on Wednesday night.
