A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Sheyi Ojo’s performance in the 2-2 draw with Feyenoord which keeps the Gers in a strong position in their Europa League group.
Steven Gerrard’s men go into the final matchday knowing that they will be through if they avoid defeat against Young Boys at Ibrox.
The Gers had initially come from behind to lead in the Netherlands thanks to a brace from Alfredo Morelos. But the Eredivisie would secure a share of the points to keep their own hopes of progress alive.
Unfortunately, it appears that the fans have no interest in seeing one member of Gerrard’s squad keep their place for that final game. Ojo endured a difficult night against Dick Advocaat’s side and the Liverpool loanee has come in for a lot of criticism on social media.
Plenty of supporters felt that Ojo did nothing of note while on the pitch. And they appear to be growing frustrated that Gerrard is showing so much faith in him.
He was certainly overshadowed by former Reds teammate Ryan Kent, who provided the assist for Morelos’s first goal with an outstanding cross.
And several fans have suggested that Ojo needs to be dropped. In fact, some have gone so far as to say that they do not want the wide-man involved again anytime soon, with some warning Liverpool that the club should not expect Rangers to be making any bids to take Ojo permanently in the future.
Here is how some of the supporters reacted to Ojo’s performance…
Why is Ojo not on that list? Oh wait I will answer it…..he is rotten. Jack for me👍

Mate he pulled off a couple of nailers of tackles. Agreed though wasn’t the defences finest hour tonight. The laddie Ojo just doesn’t have it, or are we being harsh because Kent is just so far ahead of him

Ojo’s only on the pitch to keep our eyes away from that CB pairing. Classic sleight of hand by Gerrard

Great point in the end after that 1st half.
Goldson and Helander are a mess at times, and Ojo needs his contract terminated ASAP.
