Borna Barisic is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League outfit Tottenham ahead of the summer – and some Rangers fans on Twitter have claimed they would sell him if they are willing to match his price tag.
Football publication 90min claims that Spurs are keen on making a move at the end of the season for the Gers defender.
It is explained that Scottish giants Rangers value him at around £22million and it would take that sort of money to take him away from Ibrox.
The report is unclear on if Jose Mourinho’s Spurs would be prepared to meet his valuation, but they are expected to make a move and want to strengthen at left-back for next season.
Barisic was signed by Rangers for just £2.2million (BBC) back in the 2018 summer transfer window and he’s grown into a top player under manger Steven Gerrard.
The 27-year-old has managed 14 assists in 37 games across all competitions this term and is such a threat from both set-pieces and open play with crosses into the box.
He is a Croatia international that has been influential in the club’s run to the Europa League last 16, where they have set up a two-legged tie with Bayer Leverkusen.

A selection of Rangers supporters on social media recognise that Barisic is an important player in their side, but admit that they would be foolish not to sell if Spurs came in with a big move.
