Rangers reportedly have an interest in Aberdeen midfielder Lewis Ferguson – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are split over the speculation.
The Scottish Sun reports that Light Blues sporting director Ross Wilson has shortlist him as a possible target for the January transfer window.
It is explained that there are concerns the Gers will receive strong interest in their midfielder Glen Kamara for big money..
Ferguson is viewed as a potential replacement if Kamara’a exit from Ibrox does take place.
Ferguson was previously on the books at Rangers in his youth, but his real senior breakthrough has been with current side Aberdeen.
The central midfielder has been a mainstay in the team this season, scoring two goals and supplying five assists in 18 games across all competitions.
He is a 20-year-old Scotsman with a lot of potential and continues to improve at Pittodrie.

A selection of Rangers supporters don’t believe Ferguson has the quality to make the step up with them, while others view him as a rising talent that could be a future star.
There have been so many examples of players making the step up from lesser clubs in the past, but there is always a gamble in signing anyone.
