Rangers got their Europa League campaign off to a flyer with a 2-0 win over Standard Liege – and afterwards, supporters took to Twitter to rave about the performance of Ryan Jack.
The 28-year-old was in fine form having been reinstated to the starting line-up and caught the eye with a professional display from the middle of the park.
Jack missed some games earlier this season with a knock to his calf but on this performance, it won’t be long before he becomes a permanent fixture in Steven Gerrard’s team once more.

Rangers secured the win last night thanks to goals from James Tavernier and a late Kemar Roofe goal from the half-way line.
Despite the striker’s brilliance though, a lot of the praise after the game was lavished on Jack as he made sure Rangers won the midfield battle.
Liege have proved a well-drilled outfit under former Nottingham Forest boss Philippe Montanier and this was a decent win for Gerrard’s men.
Rangers also have Benfica and Lech Poznan in their group and will need to be at it to progress from Group D.
A few more performances of this nature from Jack should help and here is what supporters were saying about the fan favourite on Twitter.
