Rangers were forced to settle for a draw after a below-par display in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.

Afterwards, all the talk was regarding Ryan Jack who provided the Teddy Bears with a spark from the bench.

It wasn’t a vintage Rangers that took on Hamilton this afternoon by any means.

A Brian Easton goal saw them take the lead but Ross Callachan’s late leveller was a deserved equaliser for the hosts.

Boss Steven Gerrard will want his team to increase their performance levels as they close in on a first league title for 10 years.

Jack was introduced in the 60th minute for Bongani Zungu and in truth, he transformed the game.

His passing was on point, he put himself about and his introduction gave Rangers something they had been lacking.

The 28-year-old is finding his feet after missing nine league games through injury.

On this performance, he looks to be nearing full fitness, however, and Gerrard has some food for thought.

Jack if firm Ibrox favourite and is paid £13,000-a-week by the club.

During today’s game supporters took to Twitter to rave about his performance as a second-half substitute.

Here is what the Gers faithful were saying regarding Jack’s magnificent cameo.
