Rangers fans react to performance of Joe Aribo during 1-0 victory

Rangers went 23 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership last night after a 1-0 Ibrox victory.

It wasn’t all plain sailing for the Teddy Bears who were made to work for their three points by a dogged St Johnstone.

Ianis Hagi provided the decisive goal in the 52nd minute but this wasn’t a routine win that Rangers have become used to this season.

Steven Gerrard’s men are still unbeaten during 2020/21 and are romping to their first league title in 10 years.

After last night’s performance, it was Joe Aribo who came in for some praise on social media.

The 24-year-old has played 25 times for the Gers this season and is proving a big player in Gerrard’s ranks.

Last night the £7,500-a-week player was once again energetic and showcased several flashes of brilliance to help his team.

Fans were certainly impressed and took to social media to rave about the former Charlton man.

Aribo only cost £300,000 and with that in mind, he must be one of the shrewdest pieces of business Rangers have done for many years.
