Connor Goldson was the hero for Rangers as he snatched a late winner against Kilmarnock. Goldson powered in a header from a James Tavernier corner in injury time to seal a 2-1 win for Rangers at Rugby Park.
Stephen O’Donnell had brought Kilmarnock back level a few minutes earlier after Scott Arfield’s first-half goal. But Goldson had the final say with his header earning Rangers a tough-fought win.

Goldson now has two goals this season – after scoring in the Europa League – and six goals in total for the Gers. The 26-year-old is starting to show his aerial prowess and he is a threat from set-pieces.
And he is impressing in central defence, earning himself a reputation as a bit of fan favourite among the Rangers faithful. The ex-Brighton defender helped keep things tight at the back, justifying Steven Gerrard’s decision to keep George Edmundson on the bench.
Rangers fans met Goldson’s late winner with a mixture of relief and joy. Supporters took to Twitter to send their love to Goldson after his late heroics. Here are some of the best tweets.
