A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to react to Steven Gerrard’s update on Scott Arfield – which has been reported on the club’s social media.
Arfield has not played for the Gers since Boxing Day. As noted by the Evening Times, he is currently dealing with an ankle injury.

It has been a blow to lose the 32-year-old. Arfield has been outstanding for Rangers this season. He has scored four goals and provided five assists in the Scottish Premiership this term.
His absence has not exactly derailed Rangers’s title push. But with the Europa League knockout stages on the horizon, the Ibrox faithful would have been forgiven for being desperate for positive news concerning the midfielder.

And fortunately, Gerrard has provided the update supporters were hoping for. The Rangers boss confirmed on Tuesday that he hopes to have Arfield back available for the tie with Royal Antwerp later this month.
Unsurprisingly, the news has been met by an overwhelmingly positive reaction on social media.
Arfield remains a potential game-changer for Rangers – particularly on his current form. So his return will provide a huge boost to the Light Blues ahead of their return to European action.
