Rangers fans react on Twitter to Ryan Kent’s Old Firm display

A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Ryan Kent’s display as the Gers won the latest Old Firm battle after an outstanding performance at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard’s side moved a step closer to going through the Scottish Premiership season unbeaten as they brushed Celtic aside on Sunday.

The Light Blues played some scintillating football going forward. And there was arguably no player who would have created a bigger buzz than Kent had Ibrox been packed out with supporters.

The Hoops seemed incapable of getting the ball off of the Englishman over the course of the afternoon.

Arguably, the moment that summed up their inability to deal with Kent came during the second-half when Moi Elyounoussi was forced to try and foul the Rangers star after losing possession in the middle of the park.

He got enough of his shirt to tear it, but barely managed to knock Kent off his stride.

There were also moments of outrageous skill, including one amazing turn to get past Greg Taylor.

Kent provided the assist for Kemar Roofe’s superb opener. And no player managed a greater number of key passes than the 24-year-old over the course of the afternoon (via Whoscored).

Celtic had their moments at Ibrox. But no player came close to looking anywhere near as dangerous as Kent did as the former Liverpool man stole the show.
