A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Ryan Kent’s display as Steven Gerrard’s side comfortably booked their spot in the next stage of Europa League qualifying.
It seemed that the Gers had been handed a potentially tricky tie in the third round. However, Willem II were torn apart on their own ground.

And no player seemed to do more to tear the Eredivisie side apart than Kent. He won the penalty that allowed James Tavernier to break the deadlock.
The Englishman then doubled Rangers’s lead three minutes later. He collected the ball just inside the home side’s half and ran forward before finding Alfredo Morelos.

But the wide-man then provided another reminder of the improvement that he seems to have made to his game in recent months. He had the awareness to continue his run into the box, and the gamble paid off as Morelos’s shot was spilled into his path.
Kent went on to provide the assist for the third goal with a brilliant ball into the box for Filip Helander.
By the time he was taken off with just under 20 minutes remaining, the score was 4-0 to the Gers. And many Rangers fans were left convinced that they had just seen another man of the match display from the 23-year-old.
Kent has established himself as Rangers’s talisman this season. And the supporters are certain that he is going to be crucial if Gerrard’s men are going to enjoy major success during the coming months.
