A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to laud Ryan Kent’s performance as the Gers thrashed Hibernian 3-0 on Friday night.
Steven Gerrard’s men reduced the gap at the top of the table to two points after their emphatic win. Rangers looked to be well on course to securing the three points inside eight minutes as Kent and Joe Aribo gave the visitors a 2-0 lead.
Aribo’s finish was superb as he guided Ryan Jack’s pass into the corner. But Kent’s strike for the opener was a reminder of why Rangers spent a lot of money on him in the summer.
The winger did have an open goal in front of him following Ofir Marciano’s mistake. But he still faced a tough task finding the back of the net with the ball bouncing in front of him.
However, Kent could not have struck his attempt any better. And plenty of Rangers fans feel that he is now finding his feet once again after an arguably underwhelming start to his second spell.
It was a moment of class in an excellent performance from the winger. And Gers supporters will be hoping that it is a sign of what is to come from the former Liverpool man over the coming months.
Here is what some of the Rangers fans made of Kent’s display…
