Rangers fans react on Twitter to Jordan Jones’s cameo

A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Jordan Jones’s cameo after the winger impressed during the Gers’ 1-0 win on Sunday.

It was another underwhelming performance from the Light Blues. But it will be a relief for many that they have secured the three points in the Scottish Premiership for the first time since mid-February.

Jones came on for the final 13 minutes in Dingwall. It was the Northern Ireland international’s first appearance in any competition in just over a month.

The Daily Mail recently reported that Jones was one of the players likely to move on this summer. And while that may still prove to be case, it does appear that he has handed himself a lifeline.

He looked bright after coming off the bench. Jones was not afraid to take players on and drive forward.

He made one exciting run up the park which involved a nice piece of skill and was brought to an end when he was brought down. And he came close to scoring a second late on.

And it appears that plenty of Rangers fans are hoping that there are plenty more opportunities to come for the wide-man.

He looked lively after coming on and played as though he has a point to prove.
