A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Joe Aribo’s display during their Europa League first-leg tie on Thursday that has left Steven Gerrard’s side with a fantastic opportunity heading into the Ibrox rematch.
The Gers drew 1-1 with Slavia Prague in the Czech Republic. It looked as though the visitors may face a tough evening as they went behind early on.

However, Rangers got significantly better as the contest went on. And they got an equaliser when Ianis Hagi’s cut-back left Filip Helander with a simple task from a couple of yards.
The Light Blues may not have been at their best. But they dug in and asked a lot of questions of the side that knocked Leicester City out in the previous round.

And Aribo was one of the players who really grew into the contest. The 24-year-old was extremely influential during the second-half as he pushed further forward to provide greater support for Alfredo Morelos.
He created a good chance for Ryan Kent after the break. And although the winger scuffed his attempt, the goalkeeper still needed to make a brilliant save to scoop the ball away.
Many fans felt that Aribo was excellent in the spirited draw before being replaced late on by Kemar Roofe.
Several felt that he looked like one of their most dangerous players, and have praised his display on another positive night for Rangers.
