A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to laud Joe Aribo with many feeling that the midfielder may have been the Gers’ best player in their latest win.
Steven Gerrard’s men have secured their first league victory since mid-February. But they made their long-suffering supporters wait for the decisive goal with Ryan Kent’s deflected effort coming 13 minutes from time.
It was another underwhelming afternoon for the Light Blues. The result was obviously the most important thing, but the fans would have been hoping to see Gerrard’s men take their Europa League form into their performance. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
Allan McGregor needed to make some superb saves. And only a handful of players seemed to emerge with much credit.
Aribo seems to have been one however, who did impress the fans. The Nigeria international has been one of the club’s better players in recent times, and continued that trend in Dingwall.
The midfielder was lively and was looking to create something out of nothing for the visitors.
And plenty of supporters have suggested that he was probably Rangers’s most impressive outfield player.
They are excited about Aribo’s potential given his current run of form. And they have credited the youngster for being one of the players who is clearly determined to turn their fortunes around at Ibrox.
Here is what some of the supporters made of Aribo’s display…
Joe Aribo’s goni be our player of the year next season, guarantee it!

Aribo was the best player on the park today, can’t be left out. I would have him over Kent.

Aribo is the only one out of any of our midfield three who looks positive wit the ball, always has his head up looking to go forward shame no one else has the same urgency atm?

Aribo was clearly the only one that’s taken the last week as a wake up call it should be.

I’d like to give a wee bit praise to Joe Aribo today btw esp in the second half. Always looking to get on the ball, always looking to get forward, always looking to take a man on – a stark contrast from his midfield team mates. He will come good for Rangers imo, big future.
