A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to laud Borna Barisic’s performance during the Gers’ 2-0 victory at Motherwell on Sunday.
Steven Gerrard’s side remain within touching distance of the Scottish Premiership summit after their impressive win at Fir Park. The Light Blues were dominant and would have won by a bigger margin if not for Mark Gillespie.

It was Nikola Katic and Alfredo Morelos who bagged the goals. But the supporters have suggested that Barisic was absolutely a contender for the man of the match award following the win.
The left-back was a threat all afternoon. It was his corner that led to the opening goal as he found Katic in the middle of the box.

And he played a delicious ball into the path of Morelos early in the second-half. The Colombian – who would ultimately get his goal – was thwarted on that particular occasion.
Barisic was incredibly unlucky to not make the score 3-0 in the latter stages. His brilliant free-kick had to be tipped onto the post by an inspired Gillespie.
Plenty of Rangers fans remain in awe of the transformation Barisic has enjoyed. It appeared inevitable that the 27-year-old would be leaving the club back in the summer.
However, the left-back has now established himself as one of the first names on Steven Gerrard’s team sheet. He has been superb for much of the campaign, and the supporters were amazed by his latest display.
Here is what some of the fans made of Barisic’s performance…
