A number of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to react to comments from Steven Gerrard concerning the fitness of Ryan Jack.
Jack came off after just 27 minutes of the Gers’ latest win, which came at Ibrox at the weekend as they beat Dundee United 4-1.

It has not been an easy season for the 28-year-old. He has featured in just 19 of the club’s Scottish Premiership games after spending two months on the sidelines around the turn of the year.
And unfortunately, it appears that he is now set for another stint out of the side – albeit a briefer one.

Gerrard confirmed in his press conference ahead of Thursday’s Europa League tie that he is likely to be out for around two weeks due to his calf injury.
It is certainly encouraging that Jack is not set to be out for too long. However, it is no surprise that a number of Rangers fans have expressed their disappointment on social media.
‘Not ideal’
It was clear just how frustrated Jack was at the weekend. That frustration has surely stemmed from his struggles to simply catch a break with his fitness.
When the Scotland international is at his best, there are few names who would be written down on Gerrard’s team sheet before him. But there are concerns about how much he can be relied upon in the long-term.
