Rangers fans react on Twitter as Kemar Roofe signs

The former Leeds player is back in Britain after the Gers won the race for his signature.

Rangers have today completed the signing of Anderlecht striker Kemar Roofe, as confirmed on the official website of the Gers.

The former Leeds United ace has checked-in at Ibrox, signing a four-year deal after a £4 million fee (Daily Mail) was agreed between the clubs.

Roofe spent just a single season in Belgium, as injury got in the way of him making a massive impact.

He did manage seven goals but it’s perhaps his Leeds form that will excite Rangers fans even more.

During the 2018/19 campaign, Roofe scored 15 times as the Whites qualified for the Championship play-offs.

The 27-year-old is lively, scores goals and shows determination beyond belief.

One his day, Roofe is capable of terrorising defenders in the Scottish Premiership and his all-action style will surely be welcomed by the club’s supporters.

His arrival adds some real quality in attack and also ensures Rangers are well-stocked should Alfredo Morelos be sold during the transfer window.

Following today’s announcement, Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to speak of their delight at the news.

Plenty are delighted to see the deal go over the line and can’t wait to see Roofe line-up in the famous blue.

Here is a selection of Tweets from the club’s supporters.
