Rangers have reportedly been quoted between £8million and £10million to sign winger Ryan Kent on a permanent basis from Liverpool – and Gers fans have reacted on Twitter.
The Daily Record claim Liverpool will only sell 22-year-old Kent if they receive a figure in that region for the tricky winger. It is hardly surprising, given his excellent form for the Light Blues this season.
Kent, who has also been on loan at Bristol City, Freiburg and Barnsley, has had a hand in 14 goals since joining the club. He has scored five goals for Steven Gerrard’s men, and created another nine assists.

Rangers have only ever spent more on one other player. Their record signing is currently Tore Andre Flo, who joined the club from Chelsea in 2000 for a fee believed to be in the region of £12million (Guardian).
The Gers have plenty of options out wide in Glenn Middleton, Jordan Jones, Eros Grezda, Daniel Candeias and Jamie Murphy, but Kent has certainly been the pick of the bunch.
Rangers fans reacted on Twitter to the news that Kent could cost £10million, which is said to have put the Gers out of the race for his signature on a permanent basis. Many feel as though that is too much for a player of his standard.
