Rangers have allowed young goalkeeper Robby McCrorie to rejoin Livingston on loan until the end of the 2020/21 campaign (BBC Sport).

The young goalkeeper spent the second half of last season with the Scottish Premiership side playing eight times.

McCrorie has enjoyed other loan spells with Queen of the South, Berwick Rangers and Greenock Morton.

The Teddy Bears rate the Scotland under-21 stopper highly, offering him a new three-year contract at Ibrox last week.

McCrorie is behind Allan McGregor and new signing Jon McLaughlin who recently joined from Sunderland.

The Gers custodian is already a competent goalkeeper and the chance to play regular football should develop him further.

A sound shot-stopper, he is strong at collecting catches and is also comfortable when collecting crosses.

Following news of another temporary Ibrox departure, Rangers fans have been reacting on Twitter.

It would seem that many supporters feel his development is best served out on loan and are looking forward to him playing more football.

McCrorie seems a popular figure with supporters and plenty are backing him to be a number one at some point.

Here is a selection of tweets from the Gers’ faithful as McCrorie heads out on loan once more.
